📖 Dissolving

  1. Work in a clean environment and use sterile supplies .
  2. Cool the peptide and bacteriostatic water in the refrigerator.
  3. Using a sterile syringe, withdraw the required volume of bacteriostatic water .
  4. Point the needle towards the inner wall of the vial with the lyophilized substance and slowly add the bacteriostatic water.
  5. Gently swirl the vial until the powder is completely dissolved.
  6. Store the reconstituted solution in a refrigerator at 2–8°C. Its shelf life under these conditions is 4 weeks .

What is TB-500?

TB-500 is a synthetic version of the natural peptide thymosin beta-4, which is found in almost all tissues of the human body. It is made up of 43 amino acids and has been described in research models with a potential role in the processes of cell migration, angiogenesis and tissue repair. In research models, TB-500 has been described with the potential to support tissue regeneration, inflammatory response and healing processes. In research settings, it has shown effects on improving the healing of tendons, muscles and skin.

 

Observations on TB-500

TB-500 is being studied for its possible effects on:

Healing of muscle and tendon injuries – in research models, an effect on repair processes and tissue regeneration has been observed.

Stimulation of angiogenesis – a described effect on the formation of new blood vessels and local blood supply.

Dosage and administration

In the scientific literature, subcutaneous administration of doses of 2-5 mg, administered 3 times a week for 4-6 weeks, is most commonly found, followed by a maintenance phase.

At 5 mg + 3 ml bacteriostatic water: 1.67 mg/ml → 0.3 ml = 0.5 mg

At 10 mg + 3 ml bacteriostatic water: 3.3 mg/ml → 0.3 ml = 1 mg

Example values for 5 mg:

0.15 ml = 250 μg

0.3 ml = 500 μg

0.45 ml = 750 μg

0.6 ml = 1 mg

0.75 ml = 1.25 mg

Example values for 10 mg:

0.15 ml = 500 μg

0.3 ml = 1 mg

0.45 ml = 1.5 mg

 

Application in sports

TB-500 is banned by WADA for use by athletes because it may:

- accelerate recovery after muscle and tendon injuries

- improve blood supply and tissue healing

- shorten recovery time between intense workouts

 

Possible side effects

Reported side effects are rare and usually mild:

- fatigue

- headache

- redness or pain at the injection site

Less commonly, changes in appetite or drowsiness may be observed.
