CJC-1295 (Mod GRF 1-29) is a synthetic analog of Growth Hormone Releasing Hormone (GHRH), composed of 29 amino acids. The modified form, known as Mod GRF 1-29, contains specific amino acid substitutions that increase its stability and biological activity compared to the original Sermorelin. Published scientific literature describes CJC-1295 as facilitating the physiological release of growth hormone (GH) by stimulating the pituitary gland, enhancing natural secretion pulses. It is often considered in combination with GHRP peptides, such as Ipamorelin, due to a potential synergistic effect on GH release.
CJC-1295 (Mod GRF 1-29) is being studied in relation to the following physiological processes:
Stimulation of growth hormone – activation of GH pulses and an increase in IGF-1 have been observed in scientific models.
Impact on anabolic processes and protein synthesis.
Support for joint and bone health – effects on mineralization and recovery of tendons and bones have been described.
Regeneration and recovery – an observed role in recovery processes after physical exertion.
Sleep quality – associated with aiding deep sleep phases.
Effects on tissue regeneration – considered in relation to recovery and cellular renewal processes.
Metabolic action – a connection with lipolysis and fat metabolism has been observed in research models.
For 5 mg + 3 ml bacteriostatic water:
Concentration = 1.67 mg/ml → 0.06 ml = 100 μg
Example values for 5 mg:
0.06 ml = 100 μg
0.12 ml = 200 μg
0.18 ml = 300 μg
0.24 ml = 400 μg
CJC-1295 is the subject of clinical and preclinical research in various fields.
In endocrinology, it is considered for its ability to increase GH and IGF-1 levels with good tolerability.
In sports medicine, interest is related to recovery, maintenance of muscle mass, and reduction of fat tissue.
In gerontology, it is being studied for its potential role in maintaining higher GH and IGF-1 levels with aging.
Combining it with GHRP peptides is often considered a more effective approach compared to standalone administration.
CJC-1295 is included in WADA's prohibited list for professional sports because it can:
stimulate growth hormone release
aid in muscle and tendon recovery
positively influence muscle mass and strength
participate in fat reduction processes
Reported adverse reactions in scientific literature are generally rare and mild in nature:
redness or discomfort at the injection site
fatigue
headache
mild fluid retention
Less commonly, dizziness or temporary changes in appetite may be observed.
